Management Commitment

Senior management commitment and management support is essential for an effective security awareness culture at all levels of an organization. Without the conviction, leadership and drive of senior management, any initiative aimed at raising security awareness among employees is bound to stall, fall short of expectations or simply fail to deliver.

When senior management acknowledge these risks and are committed to leading initiatives aimed at security awareness in their organization they have the ability to motivate employees to make effective use of awareness training programs.

During almost a decade of practice, we discovered that one of the most successful ways in which the commitment of senior management can be communicated to employees is through a personal message recorded on film.

This is why we produce a brief 2 minute video in which one of the Board Members or Senior Executives from the client organization explains the importance of maintaining effective security within the organization and stress the need for employees to constantly take information security into account during all working processes and practices.

This film can be easily integrated into other parts of the training program, for example during the training sessions and in the e-learning program. This intervention significantly improves the success rate of the entire program.

Management commitment films can be produced in various language versions (subtitled or with voice-overs) and customised down to the integration of your own company brand and look and feel.
