Special Topic Programmes

Introduction

Special Topics are developed for more in depth learning about information security subjects. The Special Topic programmes can be used to give additional training to specific target groups that require more instruction about a particular subject. The target group “mobile workers” for exemple need more instruction about the topics “Loss of Laptops & PDA’s” and “ Mobile working”. The target group" handling sensitive information" can for example be trained more in “Information Classification”, “Privacy” and “Working with 3rd parties”.

Film clips + Training Material + Self Testing

InfoSecure is a marketleader when it comes to Awareness training programmes. InfoSecure not only delivers a very attractive programme for clients but also a very effective one. The succes of the programme can partly be accredited to use of audio visual content including film clips.

The design of the Awareness programme is unique as the content is a combination of film clips, that are used as eye-openers, learning material (eLearning) and self-testing (with management reporting). InfoSecure has used audio/visual content for the last 8 years in all of our programmes, and our experience is that in even a short 5 minute programme, there is a need for a short film clip to illustrate the risk and make the programme more interesting for the audience. We know exactly what catches the audiences eye and what has the most impact. The use of film clips, supporting learning material and a self-test with management reporting makes it an attractive and effective combination. Even recent studies have concluded that the use of these different media approaches is a requirement of an effective awareness training.
